Julia Loup is a first-year clinical geropsychology student working under the mentorship of Drs. Michelle Hilgeman and Lynn Snow at UA and the Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center. Her current research focuses on expanding technology into the clinical realm, with an emphasis on rural aging populations with limited access to mental health care. Additional interests include: subjective perceptions of health and age, human-computer interaction, and participatory design processes to improve community-based health care
