Bio

Cassandra Jensen is a third-year graduate student in the psychology-law concentration. She received her BS in psychology from Fordham University (Bronx, NY) in 2018. After graduation, she spent two years working as a transitional forensic case manager in Brooklyn, NY with those diagnosed with a severe mental illness (SMI) at Rikers Island Jail. Her current research interests focus on how race and ethnicity are used and conceptualized in forensic psychology research. Additionally, her interests include policy implications for forensic psychological research and courtroom legal-decision making. In her free time, she is at the lake or arboretum with her dog, Summer.
