The University of Alabama Department of Psychology presents "The Desegregation Symposium" in honor of the 50th anniversary of the desegregation of the University of Alabama. Events include a student panel of minority students in the department, a "Trailblazer" panel of faculty and former students who worked to integrate the department and continue efforts of diversity,
This event is designed for undecided students and students new to the psychology major (1st and 2nd year students) to learn about the major, the curriculum, opportunities within the department, and ask questions. Dr. Kristina McDonald, Director of Undergraduate Studies, will give a presentation about course offerings, major requirements, and address commonly asked questions.
