Amber M. Ingram Awarded the Albert Schweitzer Fellowship

Amber Ingram

Congratulations to our own Amber Ingram! On April 16th at the B&A Warehouse in Birmingham, AL Amber received the Albert Schweitzer Fellowship! The ASF is a non-profit organization that gives a small stipend to a select number of graduate students to create a community-based service project that seeks to address the physical and/or mental needs of an under-served population.

Amber will be teaming up with Tuscaloosa Spay and Neuter Incentive Program (TSNIP) to teach a group of at-risk youth, including a group of youth in foster care, about animal welfare issues. The kids will then set up booths around Tuscaloosa to inform the public about these issues.

We are so happy and want to share in your wonderful success. Well done!
