Kate is a 1st year clinical gero student working under the mentorship of Drs. Lynn Snow and Michelle Hilgeman. She received her B.A. in psychology at the University of Mississippi, and her M.A. in clinical psychology at Minnesota State University. Broadly, her research interests include evaluating non-pharmacological, restraint-free interventions for addressing distressed behavior in persons with dementia, as well as addressing unmet needs of both caregivers and residents that improve quality of care and increase valued living.
