The University of Alabama Department of Psychology presents “The Desegregation Symposium” in honor of the 50th anniversary of the desegregation of the University of Alabama. Events include a student panel of minority students in the department, a “Trailblazer” panel of faculty and former students who worked to integrate the department and continue efforts of diversity, as well as a keynote address by the department’s first minority Ph.D. graduate, Dr. Carl Clark. Refreshments will be served.
